Workshop 'Shared cycling pleasure: Together on one bike' at REVA2025
In this practical workshop, Mobiel 21 will teach you all about the technical and practical aspects of cycling with a duo-bike, tandem, rickshaw or other adapted bicycle for two persons. Topics include learning how to cycle with such an adapted bike, and tips on how to do so safely. All in accordance with the Highway Code. So you can be well informed and confident on the road with your passengers!
Part of REVA2025
This workshop will take place during REVA2025 at Flanders Expo in Ghent, on Thursday 24 April (15-17h). REVA is the information fair for people with disabilities, the elderly, informal carers, service providers and other professionals. This year, the fair is entirely dedicated to G-sports.
The fair will take place from 24-26 April 2025, from 9.30am-17pm each time. The REVA fair is free of charge. Definitely worth visiting and attending presentations in addition to our workshop.
Find out more about Shared Cycling Pleasure
Getting less mobile people to enjoy wind in their hair again. Regardless of their age, health condition or disability. Shared Cycling Pleasure makes this possible.
There are already many initiatives in Flanders that cycle with less mobile people, often led by care facilities, welfare organisations or senior citizens' associations. And you too can start such a heartwarming initiative, or join an existing one as a volunteer. Mobiel 21 helps you get started!
Want to find out which bike suits you and your target audience best? Then check out the platform Gfietst.be. There you can easily rent an adapted bicycle from one of the many Flemish initiatives and share points.
Ine Bosmans
Want to start an intiative with adapted bikes and have questions? Ine has been guiding start-up initiatives for years and is happy to help you with advice and answers.
