Europe's TEN-T legislation is ready. Those rules define the conditions that Europe's main infrastructure corridors must meet. Now it is up to national, regional and local authorities to get to work on them. Join this webinar and find out how TEN-T will impact your city or municipality.

What is TEN-T?

In Brussels, they have been talking about it for a long time: TEN-T. This trans-European transport network aims to eliminate bottlenecks and missing links and better connect member states, including Belgium. And that by road, rail, water and air.

To steer the expansion of that network in the right direction, the European Union approved new TEN-T rules in the summer of this year. Those new rules define the TEN-T network and its corridors, and lay down the conditions the infrastructure on that network must meet.

But what does this mean for cities and towns located along TEN-T corridors? What expectations and obligations do they best take into account? And how do regional Belgian authorities, from Flanders to Brussels and Wallonia, provide support?

In a webinar on Thursday 12 December (14h-15h30), Mobiel 21 and CIVINET .BE will answer your questions about TEN-T. Experts from Connecting Europe Facility Flanders (CEF) and Service public de Wallonie (SPW) will explain exactly what TEN-T entails, and what impact these regulations have on you as a local mobility professional. So be sure to attend!

Participation in the webinar is free of charge. The language used is English.

Here's what we have in store for you

Several topics will be covered during the webinar:

  • What is TEN-T?
  • What is the impact on larger cities?
  • What is the impact on all other municipalities?
  • How is the support from the regional authorities?

Via the registration link, you can still submit topics and questions you would like to see covered. See you in the webinar!

What is CIVINET .BE?
