Webinar Cycling together with less mobile people
Dozens of local initiatives give less mobile people the chance to experience the freedom of cycling. Thanks to enthusiastic volunteers, they can join in the ride in an adapted bike such as a tandem, rickshaw or duo bike. Would you like to start such a heartwarming initiative yourself? But not sure how? Follow our inspiring webinar and you will immediately have the tools to get started.
Cycling together with less mobile people
Cycling gives a sense of freedom. But what if independent cycling is no longer possible due to age or a disability? Then there are wonderful initiatives all over Flanders where less mobile people can enjoy a ride in a rickshaw, wheelchair bike or other adapted bike.
During this inspiring webinar, you will discover how to start such an initiative yourself. An expert from Mobiel 21 explains which steps are needed, while G-sport Vlaanderen explains the platform Gfietst.be. This platform helps people rent or lend out adapted bikes - with or without a pilot - and offers initiatives a convenient way to share their offer and reach more passengers.
We also provide plenty of space for questions and exchange.
Shared cycling pleasure for all
Mobiel 21 and G-sport Flanders want to share cycling fun with as many less mobile people as possible. We do this through the platform, through our e-books for starting initiatives, and through buddy training to strengthen existing initiatives with adapted bikes.
Do you already have such an initiative and want to shift up a gear? Then we would be happy to come along and share our experience and expertise. We will put your team safely on the road. Interested? Register your organisation on Gfietst.be in just a few clicks and we'll offer you a free buddy training.
