Webinar Cycling together with less mobile people
Cycling together with less mobile people
Cycling together is great. But what if you can no longer cycle independently, for example because of age or a disability? Then there are initiatives all over Flanders that take less mobile people for a ride in a rickshaw, wheelchair bike or other adapted bike.
These heart-warming initiatives gather on Gfietst.be. Through this platform, anyone, regardless of age or disability, can rent or borrow an adapted bicycle. With or without a pilot. For cycling initiatives, the platform is a convenient way to make their offer known, reach more passengers and exchange knowledge with other enthusiasts and experience experts.
Does your organisation want to find out more about that platform? Or are you curious about what cycling together can mean for less mobile people? Then take part in our inspiring webinar and find out how you too can contribute to shared cycling pleasure, and how Mobiel 21 and G-sport Flanders can support you in this. Of course, there will also be room for questions and exchange.
Shared cycling pleasure for all
Mobiel 21 and G-sport Flanders want to share cycling fun with as many less mobile people as possible. We do this through the platform, through our e-books for starting initiatives, and through buddy training to strengthen existing initiatives with adapted bikes.
Do you already have such an initiative and want to shift up a gear? Then we would be happy to come along and share our experience and expertise. We will put your team safely on the road. Interested? Register your organisation on Gfietst.be in just a few clicks and we'll offer you a free buddy training.
Fighting transport poverty
Everyone has the right to move freely and participate in society. We support people facing transport disadvantages by identifying vulnerable groups, and seek to integrate equity into sustainable mobility.
