A fifth of employees cycle to work. Commuting by bike can therefore grow even further. This study day by De Fietsersbond will help you remove barriers, motivate colleagues and strengthen your organisation's cycling policy. Experts from Mobiel 21 will also participate!

On the programme

During the study day, Fietsersbond will present Bike2Work 2.0, its renewed offer for employers. This will be followed by all kinds of practical sessions, on topics such as awareness-raising cycling campaigns, the Cycle Friendly Employer label, smart route planners, legal liability in cycling accidents, the mobility budget 2.0, bicycle parking and so much more.

Sanne and Eva from Mobiel 21 also give such sessions. The theme there is Naarjobs.be. That is a unique online job platform, built by Mobiel 21 and Nazka Mapps.

Jobseekers quickly find an ideal job in their neighbourhood on the platform. And they immediately find out how to get there. Because the perfect job is often closer than people think. For job coaches, employment mediators or referrers, the platform is an extra tool to overcome mobility barriers and get jobseekers into work quickly. Employers, in turn, use the platform to attract new talent. They do this by highlighting their mobility benefits, such as bicycle leasing or a train pass. These perks convince jobseekers to choose their organisation.

Creating people-friendly streets

Streets should prioritise people over cars. Through creative campaigns, temporary interventions and experiments, we show how cities and towns can reclaim space for walking, cycling and community life.
