A school street, what is that?

Smart cities and towns

Another street with a separate statute. What the advantages are as well as what is allowed and required, we explain in 2 minutes and 21 seconds.

Queueing traffic, cutting or a bicycle street? When it comes to mobility, you are bound to come across difficult words or technical terms. In the film series 'Mobility for Dummies', our traffic specialist Glenn explains mobility concepts clearly and simply. So you will soon have all the knowledge you need to take part in discussions on mobility and to help build more human-sized streets.

This week in 'Mobility for Dummies': the school street.

Lo and behold, 2 minutes and 21 seconds later, you know perfectly well what a school street is! Want to learn even more traffic terms?

All For Zero

The 'Mobility for Dummies' film series is part of the initiative All For Zero. With this initiative, the various authorities in Belgium want to reduce the number of road deaths in our country to zero. And that by 2050. An ambitious goal, which we can only achieve by working together. All 4 Zero actively involves citizens in improving road safety and encourages local initiatives to make their own street, neighbourhood or municipality safer. This is precisely why it is so important for everyone to have a say in mobility. And that is where our 'Mobility for Dummies' series contributes.

With the support of Federal Minister for Mobility Georges Gilkinet, the FPS Mobility and Transport and Vias Institute.

Thanks to Iwona Pom for shooting and post-production of the video.
