Webinar 'Cycling together with less mobile people'
Across Flanders, there are initiatives to help less mobile people enjoy cycling. Regardless of age or disability. Volunteers go out with these people in an adapted bicycle for two. Think of a rickshaw or duo bike. You too can start such an initiative. How? You will find out in this inspiring webinar.
Cycling together with less mobile people
Cycling together is great. But what if you can no longer cycle independently, for example because of age or a disability? Then there are initiatives all over Flanders that take less mobile people for a ride in a rickshaw, wheelchair bike or other adapted bike.
During the webinar, an expert from Mobiel 21 tells you more about what you need to start an initiative with adapted bicycles. G-sport Flanders explains how the platform Gfietst.be supports your initiative. Via this platform, anyone can rent or borrow an adapted bicycle. With or without a pilot. Handy to make your offer known, reach more passengers and exchange knowledge with other initiatives!
Finally, we also let an experience expert speak. Of course, there is room for questions exchange.
Shared cycling pleasure for all
Mobiel 21 and G-sport Flanders want to share cycling fun with as many less mobile people as possible. We do this through the platform, through our e-books for starting initiatives, and through buddy training to strengthen existing initiatives with adapted bikes.
Do you already have such an initiative and want to shift up a gear? Then we would be happy to come along and share our experience and expertise. We will put your team safely on the road. Interested? Register your organisation on Gfietst.be in just a few clicks and we'll offer you a free buddy training.
