A lot of local authorities used the Flemish subsidy for safe school environments in recent years. IMOB examined the impact of that subsidy and presents the results. These organisations present their best practices: Mobiel 21, ESL, Octopusplan, Route2School and Young Roadkeepers. You will learn:

what makes a school environment safe.
what the role of the different partners is.
how to reduce the number of cars at the school gate.

Children deserve a safe journey to school. We work with schools, parents, local authorities and pupils to create safer routes, reduce traffic pressure and promote active travel in the school environment. Autonomous mobility should be the norm. Everywhere!
