What to expect
The conference offers a full day of plenary sessions, parallel tracks, and networking opportunities, such as:
- Plenary session: the day will open with a Q&A with key figures in the field of cycling and ITS, offering different perspectives from policy, industry and practice. This will be followed by an inspiring keynote from a leading scientist in smart cycling, highlighting the latest research and its relevance for future cycling policies.
- Breakout sessions: Participants can choose from a variety of sessions - some hands-on, some strategic, others scientific - that provide both knowledge and practical tools. Topics include:
Lessons learned from MegaBITS implementations across Europe;
How to integrate ITS into cycling policy;
Sharing lessons on using Floating Bike Data;
Opportunities for cities to strengthen their "cycling & ITS reflex".
- Wrap-up: the conference concludes with a dynamic wrap-up session, where the main lessons and insights from all sessions will be brought together.
- Networking & exhibition: connect with peers from across Europe during breaks, lunch, and the closing reception. Project partners and companies will showcase their smart cycling implementations or products.
