Mobile parklet makes your street bloom
Cars take up a lot of space. Even in residential streets. This does not leave much space on the street for playing children or for spontaneous social contact. With Mobiel 21's mobile parklet, you can change this.
People instead of machines
Residential streets full of parked cars. We are so used to it that we no longer think about how much space all those machines actually take up. This leaves little space for people. To show that things can be different and fairer, there is now the mobile parklet by Mobiel 21.
The parklet is a small, interactive and temporary meeting place the size of one parking space. The play facilities and benches of the parklet invite both young and old to relax and meet each other in the public space. Totally spontaneous. Moreover, you can also decorate the parklet with flowers and plants. That way, you literally make your street blossom.
The parklet in your street or community?
Citizens, organisations and municipalities can borrow the parklet. This way, they can test the effect of a temporary intervention in the streetscape and open the dialogue on a different interpretation of the public space.
