Summer School Universiteit Antwerpen: Age-Friendly Cities
This summer school will delve into the challenges of creating age-friendly cities. In support of older adults in (re)claiming their 'right to the city' we focus on concrete solutions and an interdisciplinary perspective, to assess policies, implementation strategies, and good practices that help create age-proof urban communities.
Creating people-friendly streets
Streets should prioritise people over cars. Through creative campaigns, temporary interventions and experiments, we show how cities and towns can reclaim space for walking, cycling and community life.
