The Flemish society is a multicultural one. About 6% of the population is of foreign descent. Next to that, there are also a lot of newcomers. In 2009, 28.000 people immigrated to Flanders. Half of them came from EU-countries.
Mobiel 21 organises educational projects and extra or permanent training for all those interested in sustainable mobility. Often these activities are adjusted to the needs of the target group and focus on current themes.
